This impossibly durable shield is made of legendary star metal, the work of a master craftsman.

Most warriors prefer to carry a shield into battle if there is one available. The best blow is the one that misses, but the second best blow is the one that you block.

Star metal is rare, smelted from ore that falls from the heavens. Armor made from this material is of a preternatural aegis.
