Honest people defend their homes with stout walls and strength of arms. But devious people know that once a wall is breached, their enemy will be off guard. There are many traps that can be concealed within the walls and floor of a keep and thieves and conquerors alike would do well to keep their wits about them.
Nabonidus, the Red Priest, is rumoured to have filled his mansion with traps to kill the assassins and thieves which came to rob him of life and loot respectively. Ultimately they proved ineffective, as he was found murdered in his own mansion one morning, just inches from the trigger to one of his own traps.

- Spike Traps are built from the construction hammer and can be placed anywhere that has not been claimed by another clan, including on foundations.
- Spike Traps are reusable - interacting with the spike will cause them to retract, allowing them to re-trigger.
- Be warned that spike traps always have full friendly fire enabled regardless of server settings - stepping on your own traps can and possibly will result in a rather embarrassing demise. This includes thralls!
- On default server settings traps deal 100 damage, mitigated by armor.
