This template is intended to help preserve Proper Names and other In-Game Text which is unfortunately misspelled by the developers. Often wiki visitors will attempt to make corrective edits to these elements, which increases the load on the page partollers, who ultimately choose to revert such edits with an explanation.
Hopefully with this on-page notation indicating that page authors were aware of such errors, the community will understand why the text is presented as it is.
The style used to present the note, is an abbr HTML tag, with the cursor set to help.
When specified with a parameter, the usage is intended for inline notation.
Alternatively, if a parameter is omitted, it is suited to be used as an addendum with the style of [sic].
