Yea i'm willing to believe the info about the datamining. Curious to know how long ago this particular datamining was done, as if it's anytime past the major update in feb/march it may not be valid anymore. I seem to remember that sometime in the past weapons in the game DID show partial percentages but I can't seem to see that on any weapons now. I would say also in the main probably most standard players would want to see the stat as it's shown in game unless there was a notation somewhere on weapon pages that the partial percentages don't show in game. In any case I guess both points are valid so I feel no urge to undo right now until perhaps i've had more input from you about it. Thanks for clarifying though since the other person who changed the page didnt leave very detailed reasoning. :) Rangermanlv (talk) 08:38, 12 April 2019 (UTC)

: All autogenerated pages from Testerle's Datamining-Bot are allways fresh and up to date. He let this Bot run through all the datatables after every single update, hotfix or whatever comes from funcom and these entrys are 100% trustable. These Bot also gather all pictures, icons, feasts, recipes and whatever comes along with the datas. You can see the different between autogenerated pages and user made pages by the first line that says auto-generated page . If you see these line, you can be absolutely sure these Datas are 100% correct and like this in the current state of the game. For example, if you check the last changes you will see, his autogenerator is still running because of the last Hotfix and allready brings up all these hidden 2.2GB Turan DLC stuff who comes with the next DLC who isnt even announced yet. So these Bot is way more actuall than WE all can ever be. But if you want to add something to these autogenerated pages, what is sometimes necessary, you better use/create the ==Notes== section at this pages, so the bot will run over it the next time and ignore all the user entrys we all do in this section. Greetings and Welcome to the CE Wiki. SirBowen (talk) 09:17, 12 April 2019 (UTC)

::P.S.: Oh and sometimes it is better to show the real partial percentages. Just as an example. Some Armor shows: Heat resistance 1 / 1 / 1 / 1 / 1 = 5 but internally it is maybe 1.2 / 1.2 / 1.2 / 1.2 / 1.2 = 6 heat resistance. Makes a different to know about. Ok yea that all makes sense. I didn't know that the "generated page" comment meant it was coming from a pretty much always running bot after any kind of game changes and automatically passes thru to make sure everything matches what the data files in game actually report. :) Yea as far as what the game shows vs what datamining shows I dunno i'm kinda 50/50 on which way it should be, I can see wanting actual file data sometimes, especially from the example you gave about heat resistance on armor, but at the same time I could see some people being confused and if they are perhaps new to editing wiki and not familiar with where the partial percentage data is coming from, wondering why it doesn't match the in game item stats displayed. LOL In any case from what you've told me it just reinforces my feeling that it's fine to just leave it as it is for now from the bot data because I know what it means and where it comes from and it's not exactly like the game is saying 15% and somehow the bot data says something wildly different like 10% or something. :) Thanks for the info about where all this comes from as far as specific statistics for weapons and armor and stuff so if i'm looking at a page and want to know if I may be seeing something different, I can just look in the history and see if his bot did an auto edit recently for the data mining info. :) Rangermanlv (talk) 09:00, 14 April 2019 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing that Bowden. My head just can't wrap itself around html and wiki editing code enough to see where I could have fixed the problem. So I decided to just go back a few edits to where the tools icons and links were working again. I tried to add back the German link line, but I probably did it wrong. :) It was the middle of the night and I just noticed the page when I went looking for harvest ratings of a specific tool and saw all the links were borked, so I wanted to do at least a temporary fix.

Ho hay Sir Bowen. First thanks for correcting my edit - as I understood that we weren't talking of the same thing !
  +
My idea was not to delete the fact that Lemurians were the first humans to arrive in the Exile lands, because of course they are. But rather to argue that they cannot be said to be the ancestors of the whole Stygian race.
  +
  +
In my opinion, the lorestones of the Lemurians tell us the tell of that small bunch of Lemurian people that kept wandering until they discovered the exiled lands and settled there, and not the tell of the whole race. Then if I look at "the Hyborian Age" essay I find that for the majority of the Lemurian people had this fate : fleeing the Cataclysm, they were enslaves by an ancient human race and kept "for thousands of years" in brutality and servitude. The regressed to a state of bestial savages but somehow managed after to rise again and crush their masters, forcing what survived of them to flee westward. Those survivors fell upon a " mysterious pre-human kingdom" and conquered it. The resulting kingdom is the ancient Stygia.
  +
  +
Lemurian lorestones in the game also talk about those former masters, the people of this "strange civilisation" and give us their name : the Khari, as you pointed it in your commentary. The only difference between what the lorestones say and what the essay says is that in the game, the Lemurian had not been reduced to that level of savagery and bestiality but rather kept their knowledge and degree of civilisation.
  +
  +
The lorestone also says that some Lemurians (our Lemurians !) escaped their masters and fled to the west so I assume this happened before the Khari were defeated by the largest group of Lemurians and forced to, in turn, also flee to the west. The lorestone and the essay are not incompatible it seems !
  +
  +
Then, and without any other information involving Khari and Stygian people in the game, I come to the conclusion that in the game Lore the Khari are still the ancestors of the stygians, even if in that strange land full of exiles, some lemurian arrived first :)

I'm curious of what you may think of it, please feel free to discuss about it, I don't know if I am right or not I'm just trying to look for bits of Lore everywhere and put them together the most coherent way. I wrote a lot and it's probably bad written, I'm sorry about that. My English is not very good but usually keeps getting worse as the night goes on :p

Signing talk pages

SirBowen, please sign talk pages with ~~~~ these wavey lines. TheLOLxd2 (talk) 12:33, 27 September 2018 (UTC)

Yeah i know, the UTC line at the end didnt fall from heaven, but my Signature settings messed it up a bit i guess. SirBowen (talk) 11:16, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. TheLOLxd2 (talk) 12:33, 27 September 2018 (UTC)

Kot-Arok Steelbender spawn

Are you playing with mods? If so, which ones influence thrall spawning? This spawn may or may not only be in modded. TheLOLxd2 (talk) 05:01, 9 October 2018 (UTC)

Hi TheLOLxd2. I dont and never play with mods. But i guess you mixed something up here anyway. The Kot-Arok Steelbender and Eujima the Keeper of Secrets spawn was found without a mod. [1]. But all the others you set on "may or may not" yesterday, are from the modded Forum and most of them are 2 months old entrys. So not the best source to set Thralls to "may or may not". Also Njoror Battleborn's spawn is allready fixed, so he can spawn and the pic is after the newest update. Got him 3 times allready. SirBowen (talk) 14:37, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for the verify. TheLOLxd2 (talk) 17:44, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
