Hyboria is a savage and untamed world, but this discord should be a safe place for all.

All rules and their consequences

• are subject to change.
• may depend on the severity of an action.
• apply to all posts, previous and future.

As newcomer, you only have permission to:

• Changing your nickname.
• Reading text channels and message history.
• Adding reactions
  • Including, by default, emoji's from other discords.

To become one of the Exiles, you must

• have a verified email on your discord account.
• be registered on Discord for longer than 5 minutes.
• be a member of this discord for longer than 10 minutes.

Becoming one of the Exiles or obtaining a role afterwards may take longer than 10-11 minutes.
If so, please let a Discord Moderator know. This may be due to

• discord maintenance by discord or by discord staff.
• bot maintenance by the bot developer.
• rule breakers.

By becoming one of the Exiles you agree you have

• read the #welcome channel, as mentioned in the "newcomers" channel rules.
• read these rules.
• accepted these rules.

These are non channel-specific rules. For channel-specific rules, see the Channel rules section at the bottom of the page.

• Use common sense.
• Respect fellow Exiles and their privacy.
• Constructive criticism is allowed and encouraged.
• We try to be up front whether or not a post needs to be deleted. Please ask a Discord Moderator if you are unsure.
• Nicknames must be visible and @-mentionable.
• Please report any users. or content which breaks any of our rules or is otherwise discussable.

Otherwise, when asking a Discord Moderator, you should do so in game-chat or troubleshooting.

• Avoiding any rules or otherwise controversial activity. (DM with Discord Moderator and/or kick/ban)
  • Reactions with inappropriate emoji's from other discords.
  • Abuse of any DMs, bots etc.

Automated user accounts (self-bots)

Automating normal user accounts (generally called "self-bots") outside of the OAuth2/bot API is forbidden and can result in an account termination if found. Furthermore, the otherwise being of or inviting of a bot. (ban)

Community Guidelines apply.

The following is prohibited and should otherwise be avoided:

• DMs without permission from the receiver. (warning)
• mentioning Funcom staff without permission. (slight warning)

Instead, ask in #troubleshooting. If the reason is valid, a Discord Moderator will contact them.

All messages outside NSFW channels are scanned for inappropriate content by discord.

• using the @everyone, @here (fair warning) or random mentions. (slight warning)
• arguments and hate (DM with Discord Moderator)
  • bringing in-game or real life arguments into the discord. (warning)
  • Try to discuss calmly via DM and if no solution or compromise is found, ask a Discord Moderator to aid where possible. This includes pointing participants in the right direction or recommending them to close the issue.
  • Try to be constructive and considerate. Refer to the wiki and ask in game-chat when you are unsure of anything.
• threatening, personal attacks or statements about race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc. (fair warning)
• flaming, naming, shaming, bullying, harassment (fair warning)
• swearing, bad language, caps, excessive shouting, spamming, flooding or hitting the return key repeatedly. (warning)

Certain words considered swearing/bad language have been blacklisted.

The following is prohibited and should otherwise be avoided:

• scams, trading, soliciting or impersonation (ban)
• advertising unless otherwise mentioned by channel rules. (warning)
• asking/posting malicious links, files or ACII (Unicode, emoji's etc.). (fair warning)
  • .exe files. (ban)
  • Please use full links, preferably https. Short links (goo.gl, bit.ly etc.) are considered vague and unsecure.
• asking/posting about how to use exploits/cheats/hacks etc.

Information for wiki editors

The #official-wiki channel on the fan-made Conan Exiles discord server is a place for readers, editors and administrators of the Conan Exiles Wiki to discuss and talk about the Conan Exiles Wiki and Conan Exiles itself.

The unofficial Gamepedia discord (for active editors) is listed in Pinned Messages.

Roles

On the server, there are multiple roles representing the user groups that the user is in on the wiki:

• Wiki Staff – Given to administrators, Wiki Managers and Gamepedia Staff.
• Wiki Editor – Given to users who have made at least 3 contributions to at least one of the language versions of the Conan Exiles Wiki.
