Apprentice Armorsmith
Description
Uri the Mastersmith once stated that creating an armor set was a balance of three forces - flexibility, strength and coverage. He claimed that in developing a suit of armor, you could have two of these things, but never three. He demonstrated this principle by crafting the King of Nemedia a suit of armor that made him completely impervious to assassins; but also left the King completely unable to move once encased within. Uri was executed not long afterward.
This small kit contains tools for stretching leather and working metal joints to make them more pliable.
Using this simple kit on an armor set will make it slightly more flexible when climbing.
Usage
- Applying this kit will decrease the amount of Stamina used when climbing. Each movement will cost 0.5 stamina less per equipped item with this upgrade.
- The largest factor when determining Stamina cost while climbing is the weight of equipment worn. Applying this to heavy equipment would be less efficient then just removing the equipment for the climb.
- All kits, except Reinforcement Kits, reduce the armor's durability to 75% of its normal durability.
- There are three tiers to this item, the Simple Armor Flexibility Kit, Armor Flexibility Kit and Advanced Armor Flexibility Kit.
